I have just finished my first art journal page. It's quite simple, but I expect I'll get better as I go along. The only drawback is some stuff takes ages to dry. I'll have to get another book so I have two things to work on at once.

Yesterday I went on a bit of an art spree. Ten sketches in one day! In order: a pig dragon, a spider-faced ogre, a still life that somebody has eaten, a monster (I turned the page 90 degrees for each element then joined it all together), a bowl made of newspaper, a weird thing, some very quick cats that I forgot to turn round, a left/right handed drawing, and the beginnings of a strange bird skeleton. Whatever shall I do today?

I've begun a new dragon picture with some of the same characters from the others. The purple dragon, the man with red hair, the black and white dragon, did I post the one with him in it? I've forgotten. Oh well. This is what it looks like uncoloured.

I have been on Kangaroo Island! I went up to Admiral's Arch, Remarkable Rocks and Shep's studio. There is a painting by him now hanging on the wall. I shall take a picture and post it when I get round to it. This evening I have been trying out photoshop. I painted a purple picture, which I will also post when I get round to it. Not much else has been happening. That's not true, I've finished that picture from my last post, and another one. It looks like I'll have a lot of stuff to post tomorrow.

I have been drawing a picture. It is of a castle being attacked. It's not finished yet, but I think it's going to be good.
There is a story to go with this picture. One boy (who isn't actually in the picture) inherits a badly injured dragon from its rider and sets off to bring it back to the castle, meeting a few friends, enemies, and peculiar beasts along the way.
This picture took most of yesterday morning and afternoon to sketch and ink. I am colouring it with Copic Ciao markers. They work really well and
everyone says they last for ages.

I went to a wedding yesterday. Two people from church got married. The priest did very well. He told us, in the congregation, to speak up when we were mumbling.
I have knitted most of another cat.
It's dismembered at the moment. I'll take another photo when it's finished. You can't really see it in the photo, but the floor is spangly. That's because I picked out some material for a skirt. It is black with gold glittery spiderwebs, and the glitter got all over the floor.

I haven't been posting my first story tomorrow because as you can probably see from the date I haven't posted for a few days. What I have been doing is knitting. I've knitted some cats out of the book from the photo
I think they are pretty good considering the only other thing I've knitted is an unfinished wrap with no shaping at all. I've got some other bits of wool so I'll start another one when I've finished posting. I wonder if the person from Germany looked again. Will you leave a comment? I like looking at the statistics for the blog. There were lots of views in Australia and one from the Netherlands as well.

I went to the beach this evening. The sand was very cold, the sea was OK, and when I washed the sand off my feet in a bucket at home it was freezing! I haven't written anything on Wyrmfell yet, but I have begun a new story. The first line goes like this: "He blew out the candles and knew he was safe." I'm not saying any more than that until I get some more written. I am writing a lot of stories at the moment. I have begun over two hundred, but only about eight are finished, and only one is printed off and edited and everything. I wonder if I could post it in pieces, like a serial. I think I'll do that, starting tomorrow. Someone from Germany looked at my blog this afternoon. Will you look again? Well if you don't you won't ever read this, so I guess it doesn't matter.
It is my first time blogging, and I can't think of anything interesting to say. Oh, well. It happens. I did just think of a thing: wyrmfell. I wonder what that is? "The clouds boiled over Wyrmfell." That sounds like a beginning for something. I think a wyrmfell is somewhere where wyrms live, and I just thought of another thing: gildseeds. They are golden seeds, that only grow on the wyrmfell. I think I'd better go write this down. One more thing, this had no punctuation when I actually wrote it. I just put that in afterwards, because it's not really that important to me.
